Black Roadrunner Alumni Council Elections
BRAC will be holding elections in order to bring in a new committee chair. Below you can view the open position, the election and voting process, and some frequently asked questions.
Election & Voting Process

**Interested members will complete the nomination form, answer the prompt question, and submit a photo by 11:59 PM on February 15, 2023

Submissions will be loaded to the BRAC website for members to review.
UPDATED VOTING DATES

Voting will take place February 17 - 21, 2023

All votes will be cast through the private link that will be sent to all members who have completed the membership form.

The membership form must be completed prior to 11:59 PM February 20, 2023 in order to receive the link to vote.

All votes will be cross-referenced with the list of membership form submissions to ensure the integrity of the process.

Who is eligible to vote in the BRAC election?
All BRAC members are eligible to vote in the elections. To be a member you must complete our membership form and be a graduate of UTSA.

Who can be a candidate in the Alumni Council elections?
All BRAC members are eligible to be a candidate in the 2023 elections. To be a member you must complete our membership form and be a graduate of UTSA.

What is the process for candidacy?
First, complete the BRAC Membership Form. Second, complete the Nomination Form by 2.15.23.​ That's it!

What is the length of the term for the different positions?
All positions are held for 1 year.

Do I have to have experience with the Alumni Association prior to running for a position?
No. We are looking for excited dedicated members that want to make a difference.

What is the time commitment for serving on the executive board or as a committee chair?
​The time commitment depends on your role, but for most you can expect 5 - 6 hours a month for general council & committee meetings.
